What Impressed
Deconstructed Paani Puri: amazing- it feels like a little bubble of happiness that bursts in your mouth. The ‘khandvi’ flavoured sorbet between the starter and main: unusually refreshing! Our server Karolis was an absolute delight. He totally went out of his way to make our evening special, and even had dessert sent to our table at the end of our meal as a gesture.
What Depressed
If presentation takes precedence over taste for you, then Trèsind leaves no scope for disappointment. The flavours are subtle and reflect the diverse range of cultures in Indian cuisine without being too overbearing. However, if I absolutely have to nit-pick, then I will say that the pulled butter chicken was a little cold by the time it had reached our table, and too subtle in its flavouring for my personal taste.
