Disclaimer: Although my first introduction to the restaurant was by invite (to taste their summer menu), the below post is my objective opinion of the dishes and dining experience over multiple visits.
Restaurant Name.. Moshi
Location.. Oud Mehta, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Perfect for.. A quick snack, home deliveries, a quiet date, a lonesome reading session..
What we Ate.. Momos and Sushi, of course!
What Impressed
As a momo and sushi lover who does not eat seafood I’m so glad that I now have a place to take my sushi-loving friends to. Apart from a couple of standard sushi items, they combine local and desi ingredients to cater to all palates. Personal favourites include the chicken cheetos roll, lotus milkshake, sushi burger, and the labneh zaatar roll.
The Nutella Maki deserves it’s own paragraph. I’m so glad that my partner and I had a chance to try it during the tasting as it really hit the spot and now we continue to order it every time we order/eat at Moshi. It’s sweet, but I’ve noticed that non-chocolate lovers have also reached out for a second bite. Scrumptious!
What Depressed
We ordered the potato and corn momos for our vegetarian guest during one of our visits. Unfortunately it was ice cold from the centre. But when we brought this to our servers attention, it was replaced without question and barely minutes later we were indulging in piping hot momos with oozing melted cheese. Yum!
PS: If you order Moshi through Zomato’s online ordering system, don’t get the Chips Oman as the little chips get soggy by the time it gets to you. The rest deliver perfectly- especially the chicken cheetos and dynamite rolls!
