What Impressed
Coco Lounge became our hangout for the week that we were visiting Lancaster University in Ghana. My colleague and I absolutely loved the place! They also do a song and dance routine every 30 minutes or so to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. Super fun!
What Depressed
We headed up to the washroom on one of the evenings and a man came in and started sweeping the floor without batting an eyelid. I was a little stunned as he didn’t acknowledge my presence- especially because I was fixing my dress when he walked in. It was a violation of privacy but no one seemed to bother about it. I even checked the front door and it clearly had a ladies figure on it. I’m not sure how appropriate it was for him to have been in there..
