What Impressed
Visiting the Smokin’ 9 was part of the ‘Hidden Gem’ tour we took with Dubai Food Fest and to be honest this place really is HIDDEN. We walked around the entire cluster for almost thirty minutes – this was fun for maybe the first 5 minutes.. Nevertheless, once we got there we couldn’t help but fall in love with the super cute and snug interior: three or four tables, a shelf with boardgames, and cartoons projected on the wall. The food was decent! The Mighty beef burger and the Classic Chicken were my favourite.
What Depressed
This was one of those ‘nothing spectacular, nothing disappointing’ kind of experiences. Although, one of the chicken miniburgers in our platters had a very thin piece of chicken. It was half the size and thickness of the rest of the burgers, which made it feel like we were basically eating chicken flavoured bread.
